Pastor Nick graduated from New Orleans seminary in 1981.  He has pastored in Mississippi, Oklahoma and Missouri.

Pastor Nick is married to Julie and they have four children.  Julie is a graduate of Bryan Institute with certification in computer programming.  She leads the after school program and women's ministry at Southwest.

Pastor Nick and Julie came to Southwest in 2003.

Myra Carle is the secretary for Southwest Baptist Church.

She has lived in Wichita for over 30 years.  Myra has been married to her husband Timothy for 10 years, and  have a beautiful daughter named Marina. 

In her spare time she likes to read, go fishing and work in her garden.

Nanci Sparks is the director of our Learning Center.  She is married to Blaine, and they have four children and three grandchildren.

Nanci started doing childcare in 1980 after their first child was born and enjoyed it so much that she began taking several early childhood development classes.  She opened her first licensed home childcare business in 1988 in Fontana, California.  

After moving to Kansas in 1994, Nanci attended more classes while working at a local learning center.  In February 1997 she opened Gloryland Learning Center as a ministry outreach of Maranatha Worship Center in east Wichita. 

Nanci has much experience in home childcare businesses, as well as directing state run learning centers.  The goal for Little Lambs Learning Center is to follow God's will and to help direct the children in our care to trust God and come to know Him better.
